Graphic Design Vounteer

Available projects: re-create our UM logo into a vector-based file; develop a special "KAYUMANGGI" t-shirt design for our women laborers; develop the stylistic outline for an annual UM newsletter; help create branded promotional materials to be used for outreach activities in the community. 

Qualifications
Background or experience in graphic design
Personal computer or laptop
Photoshop or other multimedia editing software
Bilingual in English and Tagalog is preferred, although not necessary

Time commitment
Minimum 5 hours per week; negotiable

 

 

 

 

Impact Evaluatation Vounteer

Available projects: develop and administer surveys for "KAYUMANGGI" members; help us to develop tools for program impact evaluation; conduct and collect qualitative and quantitative research data to be used for annual or quarterly reports; develop "digital storytelling" videos or blog entries to highlight success stories.

Qualifications
Background or experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods
Comfortable with number-crunching and analysis
Personal computer or laptop
SPSS software

Bilingual in English and Tagalog is required for certain projects

Time commitment
Minimum 5-7 hours per week; negotiable

 

Photography Volunteer

Projects available: take professional head-shots of UM staff members and board of trustee members; take professional head-shots of "KAYUMANGGI" elected leaders; photograph UM members at local rallies and events like on International Workers' Day; photograph programs and services to be used on social media, annual report, and website.

Qualifications
Background or experience in photography
Personal computer or laptop
DSLR camera, appropriate lens, and lighting equipment
Photoshop or other multimedia editing software

Time commitment
Minimum 2-5 hours per week or at request; negotiable

Website Managment Vounteer

Projects available: create a Tagalog-based website; archive past UM articles or journals; continually update different sections of the UM website or fix bugs; help to expand our current website with new pages.

Qualifications
Background or experience in website design or website management
Comfortable using HTML/CSS
Experience with sites like WordPress, Weebly or SquareSpace
Personal computer or laptop

Time commitment
Minimum 1-3 hours per week.
